Bienvenue sur mon portfolio !
Diplômée d’une licence et d’un master de cinéma à l’université de York en Angleterre, je suis une réalisatrice et photographe animée par le désir de créer des histoires qui mettent en avant des populations marginalisées ou des sujets de sociétés complexes. Fiction, documentaire, clips, toutes les formes m'intéressent si c’est au service d’histoires humaines et engagées.
Mes réalisations ont été sélectionnés dans des festivals du monde entier (Toronto international women film festival, Surrey Short Film Festival, festival Zones Imaginaires, Luma Film Festival, Lift Off Global Network sessions, Lift off Global Network First-Time Filmmaker Sessions) et ont remporté quelques prix (Meilleure Réalisation au festival Vox Milo, 3ème prix au Pocket Film Festival).
Mes derniers projets incluent un film interactif anti-harcèlement, un court métrage filmé en Argentique à Paris et un clip filmé en plan séquence.

Welcome ! My name is Rebecca Gallon and I'm a writer & director based in France and in the UK.
Following a Film and Television Degree and an Interactive storytelling Masters in the University of York, I gained experience as a camera assistant on multiple projects (TV Shows, Feature Films, short Films, Music Videos). I then became what I have always wished to be : a film director.
My work as a director has gained multiple prizes (Best drama at the Surrey Short Film Festival, Best Director and Best of the Fest at Feel the Reel International Festival, Best Director at the Vox Milo Festival, First Prize at the Pocket film Festival of Montpellier and more) as well as festival selections all over the world.
In my work, I am motivated by the desire to create stories that bring forward marginalised populations or complex society projects. Fiction, documentary, music videos, interactive media... All formats interest me if they are used to create human driven and political stories.
